Harvey Reginald: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; As a kid, I spent a lot of time looking up at the stars. They fascinated me. I was mesmerized by the idea the universe was home to so many solar systems and planets. And the idea that, somewhere out there, there might even be life.

Growing up, Carl Sagan’s work took my interest in Space from the observatory to science fiction. After spending a lot of time watching and reading sci-fi, I started to get interested in extra-terrestrials. Over the years aliens and UFOs sort of turned into my favourite hobby. For fun, I started keeping track of UFOs in and around Vancouver.

In recent months, I’ve notice a huge increase in the number of local sightings. You may have noticed reports of these sightings popping up on blogs, social media and even in the mainstream media outlets like the Vancouver Sun. Is this a hoax? Is this some sort of a sign? Should we be looking for some sort of monumental arrival? I don’t know. But I guess we’ll see.
